Navajo Nation Mission 2025
The Plan
The Diocese of Joliet has been putting faith into action in Chinle, Arizona, for 20 years and will return to Navajo Nation for a two-week mission focused on construction and outreach from May 31 to June 13, 2025. This year, there will be a new one-week option to serve on the mission from June 7 to 13.
The Call
The Office of Mission is seeking parishioners (18+) willing to help local area families with light construction work. No experience is necessary, but a heart willing to serve is required! Mission leaders will train any inexperienced workers.
The Adventure
Missionaries stay on the campus of Our Lady of Fatima in Chinle, AZ. Teams share meals, work, and joy. There is time for spiritual formation, fun, rest, and ample time to learn about the Navajo culture and take it in. Come experience the beautiful landscapes and traditions of the Navajo Nation Catholic Community.
