Per scheduled hours, the Maintenance Assistant will have the ability to perform cleaning responsibilities with or without the use of maintenance equipment; ability to perform any set-ups and/or breakdowns before or after an event; ability to read an event calendar and set-up instructions as drawn up by the client. Responsibilities will be geared more towards the light maintenance chores. Trained in identifying minor maintenance problems i.e. lights out, leaks, broken items, etc. Performs these maintenance chores on a priority basis as determined by the Maintenance Supervisor, directly under the guidance of the Operations Director and/or Pastor and working with other staff.

The Church of the Holy Ghost part-time receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support for parish staff, parishioners, and visitors. This position will work closely with the Business Manager in organizing, prioritizing, and accomplishing tasks that support the ministries of Holy Ghost. The parish receptionist must be an energetic individual with excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Parish in beautiful downtown Naperville is looking for a dynamic youth minister to lead High School and Junior High youth programs that inspire and equip students to follow Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church. The youth minister forms young people through catechesis, prayer, service, and social opportunities.

An In-person position responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe maintenance, renovation and upkeep of parish buildings and grounds. Main duties include supervising the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and property for the church and school. Duties and Responsibilities - Primary systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, fire safety, energy management, and grounds; Maintenance of lawn, landscape, and snow removal; Will supervise outside contractors. A working position – personally performs routine to mid-level maintenance functions.

The Business Manager role is that of a professional administrator responsible for all financial aspects of the parish and school including financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, accounting, internal controls, accounts payable, human resources, legal matters, and insurance. The Director of Religious Education (DRE) will work on-site and lead the faith formation and sacraments for elementary-aged parishioners (Pre-K through Grade 5 ~ 200 children) and families of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. DRE will work in collaboration with St. Thomas Faith Formation Team: Middle School Faith Formation Coordinator, Director of Youth/Young Adult Ministry, Director of Adult Faith Formation and part time Administrative Assistant. Must support the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of the Roman Catholic Church and the Diocese of Joliet.

The Director of Finance is responsible for managing and directing all financial aspects of the parish and school including but not limited to financial reporting and analysis, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, budgeting, internal controls, insurance (working with Catholic Mutual), human resources, and legal matters (working with either the Diocesan in House Attorney or external attorney when assigned). The Director of Finance is responsible for managing the finances of the parish and school in accordance with the accounting and reporting policies of the Diocese of Joliet, generally accepted accounting principles and when applicable, state, and federal laws and related reporting.

The Receptionist/Accounts Payable employee is responsible for greeting visitors and/or callers to the Parish offices and determining their needs, then contacts appropriate staff resources to help resolve identified issues.  Employee ensures compliance of all visitors to the Parish policies and procedures; pays all invoices for Parish as instructed by Director of Finance. Must support the mission, vision, policies and procedures of the Catholic Church and the Diocese of Joliet.

St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield, Illinois is seeking to hire a part-time Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and function of the parish campus, during the late afternoon and evening on the weekend.

Visitation is a large suburban parish of the Diocese of Joliet located about 15 miles from downtown Chicago. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience and formation in Roman Catholic music and liturgy. The candidate must have experience as a parish music director, experience in choral direction, and experience leading a parish community in song in a way that enhances Visitation’s liturgical life.
