We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeper to work 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.

The part-time St. Irene Parish Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for parish staff, parishioners, and visitors. This position will work closely with the Office Manager in organizing, prioritizing, and accomplishing tasks that support the ministries of St. Irene parish.  The Parish Administrative Assistant must be an energetic individual with excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

The Parish Business Manager II is a professional administrator who reports directly to the Pastor.  This minister assists the Pastor with the stewardship of the physical, financial and personnel resources of the parish, in accordance with diocesan policies and guidelines.  The Parish Business Manager II works in a large parish with a school.  There are usually at least 20 employees.

St. Petronille Parish in Glen Ellyn, IL, a Catholic parish in the Diocese of Joliet, seeks a full-time director for Young Adult and Youth Ministry. The Director is responsible for outreach to middle school and high school students. The program should include a balance of service, catechesis, and prayer. The young adult outreach includes social and faith formation activities. We are looking for someone to help our young parishioners grow and mature as disciples of Jesus Christ.

The part-time Parish Accountant will be responsible for the Church and School payroll, all Accounts Payable functions, and the tracking and recording of all Church and School income.

The Director of Liturgy is an integral member of the Worship staff at St. Joseph’s Parish with responsibility for preparing liturgy that serves the parish community and consistently reaches out to evangelize to all. With the goal of preparing and facilitating public worship for the parish, the Director works closely with the pastor and Director of Music, and collaborates with the pastoral staff, liturgical ministers, and other members of the parish as appropriate. The Director is committed to being a liturgist, who shares faith, serves the community, and expresses the love of God and neighbor by nurturing personal spiritual and ministerial growth. This is a part-time position.

The Director is committed to being a pastoral musician, who shares faith, serves the community, and expresses the love of God and neighbor by nurturing personal spiritual and ministerial growth. The Director of Music must support the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of the Catholic Church and the Diocese of Joliet. This is a full-time benefited position.

The Part-time Facilities Technician will assist the Facilities Supervisor in performing the daily maintenance of all buildings owned and operated by St. Joseph Parish. This responsibility includes the following facilities: Church, School, Parish Center, Priests’ residence and surrounding parking lots and grounds.

The Business Manager reports to the Pastor and assists with the physical, financial and personnel resources of the parish, in accordance with Diocesan policies and guidelines.  This position is a part-time (25 hours per week), non-benefitted position. The Business Manager is a person of faith committed to Gospel values.  He or she values the organization and responsible management of resources and helps the Church fulfill its mission and purpose.  The Business Manager must support the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of the Catholic Church and the Diocese of Joliet.

St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox is seeking to hire a Part-time Communications Director to handle developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy across various channels, including the church website, social media, parish bulletin and email to effectively inform parishioners about upcoming events, church initiatives and important announcements while upholding the values and teachings of the Catholic faith.

St. Joseph Parish is seeking a Christ-centered, and passionate individual to serve as Director of Youth Ministry for the Parish's Middle School, High School and college students. The Director of Youth Ministry’s main role is to support the parish in forming young people into true disciples of Jesus Christ. The Director of Youth Ministry will oversee middle school and high school youth programs to cultivate a vibrant program where young people can deepen their relationship with God, develop a strong moral foundation, and engage actively in their faith. This will include leading the 7th and 8th grade religious education program in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The Parish Office Manager is a professional administrator who reports directly to the Pastor.  This manager oversees and has responsibility of property management, personnel, and facilities utilization; supervises maintenance, church support staff and volunteers; effectively communicates and collaborates with the pastor, staff and volunteers.

Our vibrant Catholic parish is seeking a dynamic and business-savvy individual to join our team as a full-time Business Manager. This role is critical in supporting the mission of our parish by maintaining financial health and streamlining operational processes. The Director of Religious Education will direct the religious education program. Good communication and interpersonal skills are important, as well as the ability to work collaboratively. Candidates must have a zeal for the mission of the Church to evangelize and have a vision for encouraging participation in the life of the Church. The DRE will supervise a team of Volunteer Catechists.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church is seeking to hire a Director of Music with special emphasis on the musical leadership, coordination and formation of parish cantors, choirs, and accompanists and fostering participation in music by the assembly. This is a part-time position, with the potential of full-time based on skills and experience. Hours will vary, but all masses are included.

The Coordinator of Student Ministry will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic, engaging, healthy ministry that brings children in K-6th grades and their parents to Jesus, forms them as disciples and sends them out to transform the world.

Director of Middle School Faith Formation and OCIA in harmony with the Religious Education Director for grades K-5, is responsible for building, maintaining, and administering the office of faith formation, its goals, vision, curriculum, communications. Additional responsibilities include the faith formation of the students from grade 6, (the study of the Old Testament), grade 7 (the study of the New Testament), and grade 8 (the study and preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.)  In addition to these efforts, the director is responsible for the design, implementation, and coordination of the OCIA program in alignment with the USCCB standards. Likewise, the director is also responsible for oversight of the youth minister in the role of Youth Minister Coordinator. These efforts should be focused upon the youth from both the schools and parish community, uniting all youth across the parish through a dynamic Confirmation program that is followed by continued opportunities for spiritual and communal growth in grades 9-12.

The Christian Outreach Coordinator is a part-time, hourly position with flexible hours depending on activities. Essential functions include working with Bereavement, Community Outreach/Homebound, Daybreak, Food Pantry and various Drives.

The Maintenance Custodian is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks including cleaning, completing work orders, maintaining the grounds at St. Mary Nativity and Holy Cross Parishes. This is an hourly position; hourly rate is commensurate knowledge and experience.

The primary goal of the Part-time Development Director is to grow the annual operating budget of the parish and the school.  This includes parish offertory, fundraising events and developing strategies to grow the base of financial support for the church and the school.
